A multidisciplinary program emphasizing creativity and leadership

The online Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies prepares students to move upward in the professional ranks of any sector: private, public or non-profit.

Using courses and faculty from three Drexel University colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, LeBow College of Business, and the Goodwin College: School of Technology and Professional Studies, the curriculum helps you gain expertise in five key areas of modern life:

  • Social science
  • Critical thinking
  • Creativity
  • Communication
  • Business

These essential concepts are integrated throughout the program.

Features and Benefits:

  • Practical - Develop your communication, customer service, business, project management, and leadership skills - competencies that are in demand by employers in most fields.
  • Creative – You will learn to apply creativity principles that enhance the individual, team, and organization – principles that will help you in your daily life, too.
  • Quality – Fully accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools
  • Flexible – You never have to come to campus. The program is totally online.
  • Valuable - This program allows you to add value by declaring a Minor in Business or by completing a Certificate in Retail Leadership.
  • Affordable – This program is transfer-credit friendly, allowing you to maximize your previously earned credits toward your B.S. degree.

Program Structure

The full degree program is 180 quarter credits (equivalent to 120 semester credits). Breaking the year's academic work into shorter modules of 10 weeks each helps you stay focused and on track. It also adds convenience; you can take a term off during a busy period at work without losing momentum toward completion of your degree. Since you can earn credit for prior studies, this degree is ideal if you want to transfer from other programs you may currently attend.

NOTE: Students may enroll in this program only on a part-time basis.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for all four terms. Apply today!
