Drexel is headquarters to the American Creativity Association (ACA), affording students access to some of the world’s most prominent thinkers, researchers, and writers in the field of creativity and innovation. The Drexel/Torrance Center for Creativity and Innovation, directed by Dr. Fredricka Reisman, is housed directly in the Goodwin College on Drexel's main campus in Philadelphia. The Torrance Center promotes cutting-edge creativity through programs that cultivate skills in creative thinking, innovative leadership practices, and problem solving-techniques. The Center works to enhance individuals' creative thought and their ability to imagine new ideas by developing otherwise unseen solutions for both day-to-day and long term problematic situations. The Creativity Graduate Student Association (CGSA) offers students an opportunity to work together to promote innovative leadership within and outside of Drexel University.
Drexel University's Online Master's Degree in Creativity and Innovation consists of 45 credits (27 credits of core course work, 6 credits of a Capstone course or project, and 12 elective credits) and is organized in 10-week academic quarters. Shorter than typical semesters, these 10-week academic modules are designed to keep students focused and on-track. The program is typically completed in two years and accepts new students every quarter.

Dr. Fredricka "Freddie" Reisman is a professor at Drexel University's Goodwin College, and director of the Drexel/Torrence Center for Creativity and Innovation. Formerly, Dr. Reisman served as assistant provost for assessment and evaluation, interim associate dean for research, and founding director of Drexel's School of Education. Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Dr. Reisman served as professor and chair of the Division of Elementary Education at the University of Georgia, as an elementary, middle school and high school mathematics teacher in New York; and a mathematics education instructor at Syracuse University. She has authored a trilogy of books with the world-renowned creativity scholar and researcher, E. Paul Torrence, on teaching mathematics creatively. Dr. Reisman was awarded the national 2002 Champion of Creativity Award by the American Creativity Association and was appointed to the ACA National Board where she has served as an officer and is now president. The American Creativity Association (ACA) is a global network of creativity and innovation practitioners in fields ranging from business to education and the arts. The association's annual conference is one of the most successful gatherings of creative-minded professionals in the world.
