The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree-completion program in Health Services Administration (HSAD), provides an entirely online course of study primarily for part-time students holding approximately 90-135 approved quarter credits (60-90 approved semester credits)*.   • Law firms focusing on health-care issues

This program provides a strong foundation in general management and economic policies related to health care, as well as interdisciplinary courses dealing with ethical, religious, psychosocial, political, legal, literary, and historical perspectives regarding health-care practices and populations in need of health care, especially diverse and vulnerable groups.

Credit Transfers

Students have the ability to transfer approximately 90 approved quarter credits (60 semester credits) out of the required 180 quarter credits (120 semester credits). View the program curriculum for more information regarding credit transfers.

For those with prior courses in health services and/or business administration, up to 135 approved quarter credits (90 semester credits) out of the 180 required quarter credits (120 semester credits) may be transferred with the approval of the Program Director.

*An applicant not holding 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits) is still encouraged to apply, but the application will be directed to the Drexel Goodwin College of Professional Studies, where the applicant will be evaluated as a non-matriculated student of the college. (Financial aid is not available to non-matriculated students). Upon completion of the online course prerequisites for the Health Services Administration program, the student's academic record will be reviewed regarding enrollment in the Health Services online program.

NOTE: Students may possibly take a full-time load once approved by their department, but online students will always be coded and enrolled as part-time students.
